RMIT English Worldwides Academic English programme is designed for students concurrently studying at Secondary School and University or for those who would like to improve their Academic Skills before studying in an international programme or abroad. The program supports students in academic contexts in the skill areas of Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing, Language, and Research and Study skills. In addition,it emphasizes developing skills in critical and analytical thinking. Tutorial participation, independent learning, writing,lecture listening and note taking article analysis, research procedures, oral presentations, expressing opinion, independent learning and active participation in academic environments are all covered in this series of courses. There are three Academic English courses that students can join based on their placement test level. Each of these courses is further divided into Modules that can each be completed in 50 hours. Academic English 1 is divided into 3 modules, and is suitable for students at a High Intermediate level or higher. หลักสูตร Academic English ของสถาบัน ได้ถูกออกแบบและพัฒนาอย่างต่อเนื่อง สำหรับ นักเรียน /นักศึกษา ที่กำลังศึกษาในระดับมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย , วิทยาลัย หรือ มหาวิทยาลัย รวมถึงผู้เรียนที่ ต้องการพัฒนาทักษะภาษาอังกฤษเชิงวิชาการก่อนที่จะเข้าเรียนในโปรแกรมการเรียนแบบอินเตอร์เนชั่นแนล /ภาคภาษาอังกฤษ หรือ กำลังเตรียมตัวไปศึกษาต่อยังต่างประเทศ ตัวหลักสูตร จะช่วยพัฒนาทักษะภาษาอังกฤษเชิงวิชาการ ให้แก่ผู้เรียนใน 4 ทักษะหลักๆ คือ การฟัง การพูด การอ่าน และ การเขียน ร่วมไปถึงทักษะพิเศษด้านการเรียนและการวิจัย นอกจากนี้ หลักสูตรยังมุ่งเน้น ในการพัฒนาทักษะเชิงบูรณาการให้แก่ ผู้เรียน อาทิ ทักษะการคิดวิเคราะห์ , ทักษะการมีส่วนร่วมในชั้นเรียน , การค้นคว้าหาข้อมูลด้วยตัวเอง , การฟังเลคเชอร์ และการจด บันทีกในหัวข้อบรรยายต่างๆ , เรียนรู้กระบวนการทำวิจัย, การนำเสนอหน้าชั้นเรียน, กรแสดงความคิดเห็น , การเรียนด้วยตัวเ องและมีส่วนร่วมในบรรยากาศการเรียนวิชาการระดับสูง หลักสูตรได้ถูกแบ่งออกเป็น 3 ระดับ (High Intermediate or higher Advanced Plus or higher) ทั้งนี้ขึ้นอยู่กับผลสอบวัดระดับของผู้เรียน โดยในแต่ละ ระดับ จะถูกแบ่งออกเป็น 3 คอร์ส (Module) มีระยะเวลาเรียน คอร์สละ 50 ชั่วโมง Objectives for this course are as follows:Academic English 1
